Dear Lee Ann,
ReplyDeleteI saw the word "verse" on the previous page and couldn't double click soon enough. I had no idea you'd also provide a visual playground with the eye-catching aesthetics of your poetic form. I enjoyed it before my eyes could even finish reading the content, and after doing so, it was apparent that your craft is of tantamount beauty and coveted acuity.
You deftly captured the intensity of your day and showed your skill is not only in packing an abundant amount of energy into your brief morning hours, but a notable amount of literary genius in your thoughtfully selected words. I loved the recollection of your early routine and felt your bike ride was analogous to the ebbs and flows of your morning.
You've given me many ideas with this work. Thank you so much for sharing your gifts and talents. It was remarkably done!

What a busy early morning! I love how your crafted this using white space. That isn't always easy on a computer! I enjoyed "spending time" with you this morning.
ReplyDeleteWow, Lee Anne that is a huge list of morning actions before you even enter the classroom. It is great to read one of your slices again.
ReplyDeleteLee Anne,
ReplyDeleteI’m exhausted! Whew, you put in a full day before your work day begins. I feel the fast pace of your life in this poem. It’s visually stunning, too.
Goodness gracious! You get more accomplished by 7 a.m. than some people do in a day!
ReplyDeleteI appreciated the description of your early morning routine as a poem. I don't think it would have had the same impact if you'd written it as prose.
