A new picture book came out today that brings POV to the fore beautifully, Lee Ann. At least go to a bookstore, sit down and read They All Saw A Cat-Brendan Wenzel. I think you'll love it. Thanks for much for sharing the words you wrote to your students!Linda Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14983144542632353870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7204430968023166999.post-28716654430028318532016-08-30T22:23:31.760-04:002016-08-30T22:23:31.760-04:00And, I am slowly learning that there's always ...And, I am slowly learning that there's always more to the story...<br />Lovely exhortation to us all.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7204430968023166999.post-79401632483442974332016-08-30T21:39:57.850-04:002016-08-30T21:39:57.850-04:00"This year, more than anything else, I want y..."This year, more than anything else, I want you to recognize the danger of a single story and change it." I am trying to be aware of my own tendency to quickly form an opinion [judgement] about people (my colleagues, families, students)...and - instead - to dare to look at it differently. Such an important goal for all of us! Loved your slice today. Thank you!
