Fragment

Just a poem fragment today. I'm saving it to come back to as I celebrate time to read. I finished Lu's Legend and am committed to the series. I may need to come up for air Sunday.

Squeezing seconds
out of each morning minute
minutes from each near noon hour
days are fuller than daylight allows
and this time of year writing
stretches
beyond the reach of time

  1. Yup...so little time, so much writing to squeeze in...

  2. I think we should get a petition together to make a 25 hour day. That hour needs to be set aside just for reading and writing--no laundry or vacuuming allowed.

  3. Thought I commented earlier, but I guess not. I love your poem, Lee Ann, especially these lines: "Squeezing seconds/out of each morning minute." Thanks for sharing!

  5. Just lovely! I love how you showed the feeling of making time throughout your day, in little bits. :-)
