Tanka Slice

Sometimes things start small
a chirp, a tweet, an email
community seeds
sown in fertile soil
reach toward the sun together.

  1. love it! How fun to see a glimpse of your classroom... talking to my classroom! Wish I would have thought of taking an action shot! :-) Your poem paints the perfect picture of our work. We have definitely planted the seeds of something big. Teaching and learning don't seem like such lonely struggles when we are "reaching toward the sun together". My students today were already clamoring to keep Skyping after the challenge is over! Thank you.
